The Good Governance Advocates and Practitioners of the Philippines (GGAPP) is an association of good governance advocates and practitioners from various publicly-listed companies, the public sector and other organizations who have come together to promote and assist in the development of good governance in the country.
In December 2009, several professionals involved in the corporate governance and compliance offices of their respective companies gathered to talk about their goals, their ideas and their challenges. From that first meeting emerged GGAPP. The organization was officially launched on April 1, 2011. In its seven (7) years of formal existence GGAPP has grown to over a hundred individual members and has conducted numerous large-scale educational forums, in addition to its regular learning sessions. GGAPP hosts monthly meetings to discuss the latest in governance related matters and proactively engages in dialogues with regulators and other like-minded organizations to advocate and promote higher standards of governance in the Philippines.
I take pride in GGAPP’s continuous contribution to the development of good governance in the country and consider it an honor to be part of this remarkable group of professionals. It is therefore my privilege to invite you to join our ever-growing organization - in the hopes that with your experience, stature and shared aspiration – we can continue GGAPP’s mission to improve ethics, compliance and governance practices in the Philippines.
We look forward to your joining GGAPP.
