6th Governance, Ethics & Compliance Officers' Summit

Celebrating its 15th anniversary, GGAPP returned to its roots by hosting the 6th Governance, Ethics & Compliance Officers' Summit at the Seawind Resort, Boracay Island—the very place where the organization was first informally launched. Held on March 28–29, 2025, the Summit carried the theme “Resilient Leadership: Integrating Governance, Risk, and Sustainability for Long-Term Success.”

The program featured Mr. Petros Florides, a chartered director from Larnaca, Cyprus, who shared insights on Risk Governance, and Ms. Marimar Baticulon, Founder of Aqo Partners, who led an interactive Sustainability Workshop. Other distinguished speakers included Ms. Rochelle Dichaves of Johnson & Johnson, who spoke on Social Sustainability; Mr. Alvin Dave Pusing of PwC Philippines, who discussed Managing Risk as a GEC Practitioner; and GGAPP Chairman of the Board, Atty. Vincent Edward Festin, who addressed the Evolving Role of the GEC Officer.
